North-eastern winds buffet MP
Bhopal, Jan 21 (UNI) North-eastern winds have brought down the temperature in Madhya Pradesh where the mercury had risen earlier owing to a western disturbance, a Regional Meteorological Centre spokesman said.
The ancient temple town Ujjain was the state's coldest at eight degrees Celsius while the citadel town Gwalior recorded a low of 9.7 C, two notches above normal.
The state capital had a maximum of 25 C, three marks lower than yesterday, while the minimum was 10.8 C, a degree below average.
Indore recorded a low of 10.4 C while it was 11.3 C at the cantonment town Jabalpur.
