'NCP-Cong failed to fulfill promises'

Mumbai, Jan 21 (UNI) City BJP general secretary Atul Bhatkhalkar has alleged that the Nationalist Congress Party and the Congress have not fulfilled most of their past election promises.

Mr Bhatkhalkar, in a press release here today, wanted to know from the NCP-Congress alliance government in the state as to what had happened to their promise of providing Rs 500 crore for Mumbai's development following the deluge in 2005.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation is the richest municipal corporation in the country but the NCP-Congress reign has brought about its ruin, he alleged.
