MP BJP takes exception to new delimitatiion proposals

Bhopal, Jan 21 (UNI) Taking exception to new proposals regarding delimitation of Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh, the state BJP unit has decided to present its side before the Delimitation Commission.

''The delimitation proposals are not in conformity with the parameters set by the Delimitation Commission itself,'' state BJP President Narendra Singh Tomar told reporters after the conclusion of two-day meeting of newly-appointed party office bearers here today.

Mr Tomar said senior party leaders will hold detailed discussions in this regard today so that objection could be registered.

He said the BJP had provided suggestions in conformity with the parameters but were not heeded.
