Mother kills children, attempts suicide

Malapporam, Kerala, Jan 21 (UNI) A mentally retarded mother killed here two children by throwing them into a wheel at Pathanapuram in the district early today.

Police said Aamina (21) attempted to commit suicide later by jumping into the well, but was rescued.

The deceased were identified as Sabeena (5) and Shabana (1).
