Lalu offers prayers at Balaji temple

Tirumala, Jan 21: Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple.

Mr Prasad, who arrived from Chennai, was received at the temple by Temple Joint Executive Officer (JEO) G Balaramaiah.

He was also honoured by the temple priests and later the JEO presented him Sri Vari Prasadams and spritual books.

Later, addressing newspersons, he said the present Nitish Kumar government in Bihar was losing confidence among the public.

To protect the passengers and their properties, security would be tightened at all the Railway stations in the country by installing cameras and other latest equipment, he added.

Later, he left for Chennai by road.
