J'khand tribals in poor condition: Mandal
Dumka, Jan 21 (UNI) Former MP and Jharkhand Vikas Dal (JVD) president Suraj Mandal today said the tribals and primitive tribes were leading a miserable life despite been governed by the four tribal Chief Ministers.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Mandal alleged that despite a lot of hue and cry on the delimitation commission's proposal to reduce the assembly seats for ST's not a single voice came in support of the primitive tribes.
He further said his party had raised its voice during the formation of Jharkhand and send a proposal regarding the delimitation commission proposal.
Criticising the erstwhile BJP-led NDA government and the present UPA backed Madhu Koda government for 'miserable' condition of primitive tribes, Mr Mandal said both the government were busy in working towards industrialisation.
Replying to a query Mr Mandal said JVD would be a partner of the Jharhand Vikas Morcha(democratic) led by former chief minister Babulal Marandi for the next assembly polls.
