Govt will not hike private engineering college fees: APSCHE
Hyderabad, Jan 21 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) Chairman K C Reddy today said the government would not increase fees in private engineering colleges in the state.
Participating in a convention on challenges of technical education organized by Consortium of Engineering Colleges Managements Association of Andhra Pradesh (CECMA) here, Mr Reddy said the government was committed to improve educational standards in private engineering colleges.
The government would cancel the permission of the colleges, which failed to provide quality education as per the guidelines, he warned.
He said all the private colleges should utilise the job opportunities being offered by the IT companies.
