Govt not sensitive to poor: Vijayashanti

Hyderabad, Jan 21 (UNI) Film star and Talli Telangana Party (TTP) President Vijayashanti today alleged the Andhra Pradesh Government was not keen on solving the problems facing the poor.

Speaking to newspersons here after visiting slum areas on the city outskirts, Ms Vijayashanti alleged the Congress Government failed to provide drinking water, food, medical and educational facilities for the poor.

Alleging that the government was grabbing assigned lands from the poor living on the city outskirts, she charged the local administration with harassing the poor in the guise of eviction.
