Fake RC book case: 13 in custody

Puducherry, Jan 21 (UNI) Police have so far arrested 13 persons in connection with the fake RC book case here.

Police said one S Manohar surrendered recently taking the total number of persons in custody to 13.

They were on look out for a Motor Vehicle Inspector Fernandez, Shanmugham, an employee of the Transport Department and one Madhu from Kerala.

Both Fernandez and Shanmugham were absconding following the rejection of their anticipatory bails by the Madras High Court.

Police said they would file a chargesheet only after the trio were arrested.

Of the 52 cars with fake RC books, 33 were already seized by the police.
