Autorickshaws to go off the roads from tomorrow

Hyderabad, Jan 21 (UNI) About one lakh autorickshaws in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad would go off the roads indefinitely from tomorrow, to press the government to scrap the G O 213, prescribing for replacing existing mechanical meters with digital meters.

Anti Auto Digital Meters Struggle Committee President Mohd Amanullah Khan in a press release here said the indefinite 'do or die' agitation would not be withdrawn till the government concede their demand.

The Committee appealed to the auto drivers to participate in the strike to make it a grand success, he added.
