11 BCCL employees guilty in Nagda-mines mishap: Inquiry report
Dhanbad, Jan 21 (UNI) Altogether 11 employees of the Bharat Cooking Coal Limited (BCCL), including Chief General Manager S B Chakrobarty were responsible for the Nagda Mines mishap last year, officials sources today said.
The mishap that occured at Nagda mines on September six last year claimed 50 lives, sources said.
According to highly placed BCCL sources, Chairman Partho Bhattacharya, acting on the inquiry report, had directed indisciplinary action against all the guilty.
The inquiry was conducted by a team led by Laxman Jha, former technical director of Coal India, personnel director Mohammad Salimuddin and technical director N C Jha.
