Why has Shiv Sena become your enemy, Thackeray asks Raj
Mumbai, Jan 20 (UNI) ''Why has Shiv Sena become your enemy? For what? For whom? Is it for Uddhav?'' are some of the questions Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray has posed to his estranged nephew Raj Thackeray in the second part of his interview that has appeared in the Shiv Sena mouthpiece ''Saamna'' today.
While asking Raj whether he had separated from the Shiv Sena because of Uddhav, the 80-year-old Shiv Sena chief reminded his 40-year-old nephew that it was he (Raj) himself who had recommended Uddhav's name for the post of Shiv Sena executive president.
Commenting on Raj Thackeray's statement that his party, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, will never ally with the Shiv Sena, the senior Thackeray wanted to know from his nephew as to what had made the Shiv Sena his enemy.
Continuing his tirade against Marathi journalists for ''reducing the importance of the 'Marathi manoos' in Mumbai'', he said these journalists were always targetting the Shiv Sena.
The ''Marathi manoos'' has great potential and will show the same spirit during the forthcoming civic elections which he had shown during the ''Samyukta Maharashtra'' movement, he said.
