UK Chancellor Gordon Brown visits YRF Studios

Mumbai, Jan 20 (UNI) British Chancellor of Exchequer Gordon Brown paid a visit to the state-of-the-art Yashraj Film (YRF) Studios.

Mr Brown was welcomed by Mr and Mrs Yash Chopra, Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukherji and Karan Johar, as he arrived at the studio yesterday pronouncing him self ''overwhelmed'' at the facilities of the YRF Studios and the working environment created to make films, he also visited the recording facilities and viewed the blockbuster song 'Kajra Re' in the YRF preview theatre.

He then spent considerable time discussing various issues with Mr Chopra and Mr Bachchan, particularly relating to facilities of shooting of Indian films in the UK.

Mr Chopra gave Mr Brown a gift as a souvenir, which included DVDs of some of the biggest YRF films including Veer-Zaara, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Fanaa, Dhoom, Bunty aur Babli, Salaam Namaste and others.
