Two govt servants sent to jail in coorruption case
Patna, Jan 20 (UNI) Special vigilance judge of Patna S.P.N Singh today remanded two public servants to judicial custody till February 3 in separate cases of corruption.
According to the charges, accused Bharosa Ram, a district co-operative officer of Nawada, was caught while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the seceratary of a co-operative society for recommendation for ''Bandobasti''(lease) of water taxes on January 19,2007.
Another Arun Kumar, a clerk in the office of child devlopment project at piro in Bhojpur district was arrested while accepting a bribe of same amount from an Anganwadi Sevika for disbursment of her honorarium ammount in his office on January 19,2007.
