Three killed in North 24 Parganas

Barrackpore, Jan 20 (UNI) At least three youths were killed in separate incident at Ruia Purba Para and Rahara area under Khardah police station in North 24 Parganas, police said today.

A young insurance agent Dipak Seal was brutally killed by unidentified miscreants at Dangadingla near Rahara when he was returning home late last night.

The police also recovered a mutilated body of an unidentified youth from Ruia Purbapara paddy field early today.

Earlier, another unidentified body was found in the Purba para area, eastern side of the Express way, with bullet injuries. Police suspected that the body was left there after killing the person.

All the bodies were sent for post-mortems, the police added.

Meanwhile, police started investigation in connection with the murder of the LIC agent, who reportedly had an affair with a tribal girl and made an abortive attempt to marry her, police added.

The police have detained the woman and would start interrogation.
