Precious metals shot up on bullish global advice

Mumbai, Jan 20: Precious metals went up, Silver by Rs 140 per kg and Gold by Rs 95 per ten gm on bullish global advice in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association today said.

Following were the closing rates of Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 19,400 (19,260) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,145 (9,050) Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 9,195 (9,100).
