Precious metals shot up
Mumbai, Jan 20 (UNI) Precious metals shot up today on bullish global advices with the white metal gaining by Rs 140 per kg and Gold by Rs 95 per ten gms on good demand on the Bombay Bullion Exchange today.
Silver fineness opened high at Rs 19,390 per kg on fresh buying support and closed at Rs 19,400 with a gain of Rs 140 from yesterday's close.
In London, the white metal was quoted low at 12.82/12.86 per troy ounce against US 12.79/12.82 dollars per troy ounce in New York.
Similarly, standard Gold (99.5) opened high at Rs 9,140 on good demand and closed at Rs 9,145 per ten gm gaining Rs 95 from its last close.
Pure gold (99.9) opened high at Rs 9,190 per ten gm and closed at Rs 9195 with a gain of Rs 95 from its previous close.
In London, the yellow metal fell at USD 625.80/627.00 per troy ounce as compared to USD 623.50/625.50 per troy ounce in New York on Friday.
