Intl horticulture fair from Jan 25 in Hyderabad

Hyderabad , Jan 20: The Andhra Pradesh Government will organise 17th International Horticulture Trade Fair from January 25 to 29 in the city.

Addressing the press here today, State Horticulture Commissioner Anil Punetha said over 160 organisations would participate in the Fair.

Stating that the objective of the Fair was to provide a platform for harnessing new business opportunities and promote export of quality horticultural produce, Mr Anil expressed the hope that it would help create awareness among the farming community about the latest technologies.

Display-cum-sale of exotic fruits of Thailand, Ikebana show, Bonsai exhibition, vegetable carving, micro irrigation demonstration and demonstration of aromatic oil distillation will find a place in the Fair.
