IAF NCO commits suicide at Subroto Park barracks

New Delhi, Jan 20 (UNI) A Non-Commissioned Officer of the Indian Air Force was found hanging at the Airmen barracks in Subroto Park area of South-West Delhi early today.

Corporal Ajay Kumar (31), hailing from Lucknow, was found hanging at the scooter stand of the Airmen barracks at Subroto Park under Dhaula Kuan police post, said a police officer.

''The body has been kept at the Safdarjung mortuary and his family informed.'' The postmortem would be conducted when the family arrives tomorrow, he said adding that in his suicide note, the Airman, who was still unmarried, said he was fed up with his life and hence was taking this extreme step.
