GUrdas Mann suffers minor injuries in road mishap

Karnal, Jan 20 (UNI) Noted Punjabi singer, actor and film maker Gurdas Mann suffered minor injuries when his car met with an accident on the NH-1 near Bastara village in the district this morning.

SP Shivas Kaviraj told UNI that Mann was on his way to Chandigarh from Delhi when his driver became drowsy and banged the car against a stationery truck at about 0530 hrs.

Mann suffered injuries on the face near one of his eyes while his driver Dinesh sustained fractures in the neck and arm. They were both taken to a nearby private hospital.

Mann's cousin Ms Bittu Sandhu, who lives in Karnal, reached the hospital to enquire about his condition.
