Golwalkar's birth centenary ceremony to be conclude on Jan 23

Bhubaneswar, Jan 20 (UNI) The year long birth centenary of RSS Chief M S Golwalkar will be concluded here at the Janata Maidan on January 23.

RSS state unit joint secretary Gopal Prasad Mohapatra told newsmen that the celebration which commenced in April 2006 at Chakapada in Kandhamal district would be finally come to a conclusion on January 23 after observing various programmes across the state.

Mr Mohapatra said a special attraction of the closing ceremony, would be a massive root march of 'Gosha Badaka' from across the state organised jointly by the state unit of RSS and Sri Guruji Birth Centenary Samiti He said on January 23 five-band party team would march through the whole city with their different musical instruments to spread nationalist spirit.

The root march would culminate at the Janata Maidan where the closing ceremony of second RSS Chief Sri Guruji M S Golwalkar's Birth Centenary Celebration would be celebrated.
