Diamond Hunter claims F K Irani Memorial Cup

Bangalore, Jan 20 (UNI) Less fancied "Diamond Hunter" ridden by Suraj Narredu claimed F K Irani Memorial Cup, the main event of races held today.

The winner is the joint property of Mr Sunil Jhangiani, Mrs Padmini Jhangiani and Mr Gobind Jhangiani representing Equest (India) Pvt Limit., Mr Sanjay Kapoor and trained by M Eshwer.

Trainer Irfan Ghatala, Jockeys Suraj Narredu and K P G Appu scored double each.

Punters had a fine day as six favourites obliging in a card of eight events.
