Cold condition slightly improves

Agartala, Jan 20 (UNI) The city and other parts of this hilly state got a respite from the chilly weather today as the mercury level rose to 8.4 degree Celsius than yesterday's 8.1 degree celsius.

The maximum temperature was 24.8 degree celsius today.

The day was sunny and clear with a slight fog.

The maximum humidity recorded was 97 per cent and minimum at 27 per cent, according to local MET office here.

Met department have forecast no rainfall for the next few days.
