CM announces Government Degree College for Bangana

Una, Jan 20 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today said Government Degree College will be opened at Bangana in Kuthlehar assembly segment of district to provide higher educational facilities to the students of the area.

Addressing a public meeting at Bangana during his second phase of winter sojourn to lower districts of the state, he said the state government has announced the opening of 15 colleges in the state during this financial year.

Mr Singh said Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) at Shimla and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College in Kangra district were some of the best centres of medical treatment and education in the State.

He said his government was committed for all round development of the state and sufficient funds were being released for the implementation of new schemes.
