Chennai Petroleum Corporation Q3 net up 12.6 pc

Mumbai, Jan 20: Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (CPCL) has posted a net profit of Rs 24.35 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 21.28 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005, an increase of 12.6 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 5474.14 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 5913.76 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
