Bihar to have American library

Patna, Jan 20 (UNI) US Consulate General Henery Victor Jandin and Public Affairs Officer of American Center in Kolkata, Douglas G Kelly today announced that the Consulate will soon open an American library here.

Talking to newspersons here they said they were searching for a suitable place for the library.

The library, which is going to be constructed with 5000 US dollars initially, would be open for all, they added.

According to them the venture would enable the people to know more about America thereby strenghtening the Indo-US relations.

They further said USA had also sanctioned 4 lakh dollars to the NGOs working in the eastern parts of the country to check child and women trafficking, polio, AIDS and other such issues.
