Bharat Forge Q3 net spurs 15.42 pc to Rs 63 cr

Mumbai, Jan 20: Bharat Forge has posted a net profit of Rs 62.97 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 53.26 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005, an increase of 15.42 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 415.45 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 493.31 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.

As per the consolidated results, the Group has posted a net profit of Rs 76.95 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 62.69 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005.

Total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 956.67 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 1037.09 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
