AICC deputes Congress leaders to campaign in Punjab

Shimla, Jan 20 (UNI) The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has deputed 31 party leaders from the state to campaign for Congress candidates in Punjab Assembly elections.

Revenue Minister Sat Mahajan, Industries Minister Kuldeep Kumar, Forest Minister Ram Lal Thakur, Animal Husbandry Minister Harsh Mahajan, Transport and Tourism Minister G S Bali and several other party leaders have have been deputed to campaign for the party candidates in Punjab, a release here said.

It said the names were finalised by the AICC on the recommendations made by the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) president Viplove Thakur.
