Two killed in car- mini truck collision

Bijapur, Jan19: Two persons were killed on the spot when the car in which they were travelling collided with a mini truck last night here.

The police said that the accident occurred on National Highway-13 when the car proceeding to Solapur collided with the mini truck.

The deceased were identified as Sidhaling Swamiji (48) and the car driver Irayya Gurrayya Mathpati(26) of Vikaktimath Moratgi in Sindagi Taluk, the police said.

The police have registered the accident as hit and run case and are investigating.
