Thieves break into studio

Puducherry, Jan 19 (UNI) Miscreants gained entry into a photo studio at Mudaliarpet here and decamped with cameras and accessories worth Rs 1.5 lakh.

According to police, Mr Narayansami, the studio owner, had kept it closed for a few days because of the Pongal festival. When he opened it today, he found that thieves had entered by opening the door with duplicate keys. The locker was broke open and two cameras and accessories kept inside were stolen.

On a complaint, police registered a case.
