Sleuths continues to quiz Pak militant

Kozhikode, Jan 19 (UNI) Suspected Pakistani terrorist Mohammed Fahad, arrested in Mysore, was grilled by top sleuths of the Crime Detachment for the second day today in connection with a fake passport case.

''Quizzing is on but we cannot reveal details now'' while considering the sensitive nature of the case, City Police Commissioner Balram Kumar Upadhaya said.

Meanwhile, sources said the team was focussing on how the al-Badar terrorist managed to procure an Indian passport while staying in the city as a guest a few months back.

It was also probing whether he had any link with the twin blasts that rocked the city last year, the sources added.

Fahad, arrested along with another while plotting to blow up the Karnataka Vidhana Soudha, was brought here yesterday and remanded to police custody till January 23 by a local court.

Seven people, including two cops and two relatives of Fahad, were arrested in the case.
