President Kalam leaves for New Delhi

Patna, Jan 19 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam today left for New Delhi after a brief stopover here during which he inaugurated the 'Global Meet for a Resurgent Bihar'.

Dr Kalam was seen off at the Airport by among others Bihar Governor R S Gavai, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, state assembly speaker U N Choudhry, state legislative council chairman Prof Arun Kumar and Leader of opposition in the asembly Rabri Devi.

Dr Kalam was scheduled to leave for Hyderabad which was, however, postponed and the President left for New Delhi by the special plane.
