President arrives at Patna for open global meet

Patna, Jan 19 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam arrived here this evening to inaugurate the 'Global Meet for a Resurgent Bihar', expected to boost Bihar's economic development.

Mr Kalam was welcomed at Jayprakash Narayan International Airport by Governor R S Gavai, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, speaker U N Choudhry along with opposition leader Rabri Devi.

Mr Kalam is expected to leave for Hyderabad tonight.
