Over 130 injured, five seriously in 'Jallikattu'

Tiruchirapalli, Jan 19 (UNI) Over 130 persons were injured, five of them seriously, in the 'Jallikattu' (bull taming ) event held as part of the 'Pongal' festivities, here this evening.

While the seriously injured were rushed to the Government Medical College here, those with minor injuries were attended to at the medical van, which was arranged for emergency medical help.

More than 300 bulls were brought from various places for this rural sport.
