ONGC signs agreement with Russian TGT

New Delhi, Jan 19 (UNI) State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Russia's TGT to increase the production of its matured fields.

The MoU was signed by TGT Managing Director Roustam Khamitov and ONGC Director (Exploration) D K Pande, an official statement said here.

TGT, a Russian based company, is an international service provider of well and reservoir diagnostics and management with operations extending beyond Russia, including parts of Asia.

Besides, ONGC has tied up with Brazilian major Petrobras for joint exploration and production activities.

The two companies will also jointly bid for exploration blocks under the ninth round of auctions in Brazil, Astrella added.
