OCL India net up 339.1pc at Rs 17.74

New Delhi, Jan 19: OCL India, engaged in the production and marketing of cement, refractories and sponge iron, today posted a net profit of Rs 17.74 crore as compared to Rs 4.04 crore for the same period last year, up by 339.1 per cent.

Its turnover stood at Rs 225.09 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006, up by 29.9 per cent as against Rs 173.31 crore during the corresponding period a year ago.

OCL's EPS during the said quarter was reported at Rs 4.31 as against Rs 1.12 during the same period a year earlier.
