Jammu, Jan 19 (UNI) Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has said Jammu and Kashmir is the only state where parliamentarians and legislators are being provided vehicles by the state government.

Replying toa question in the Assembly during question hour, Mr Azad said there is no state in the country where MPs and MLAs are provided vehicles by the state government.

Mr Azad further appealed to legislators not to raise security related issues in the house as well as before the press. ''It is not good to divulge publicly as to which MLA has a bullet proof vehicle or how much security has been provided to a legislator,'' the Chief Minister said.

Earlier, PDP MLA and chief whip Ghulam Hassan Khan had clashed with CAPD Minister Taj Mohi-ud-Din when he was replying to Mr Khan's question on allotment of bullet proof Vehicles to MLAs in the Assembly recently.
