Key adviser to Blair arrested in UK honours probe
LONDON, Jan 19 (Reuters) Police today arrested a key adviser to British Prime Minister Tony Blair as part of an investigation into allegations that donors to his Labour party were recommended for state honours in return for loans.
Ruth Turner, director of government relations in Blair's office, ''was arrested this morning by the police and has subsequently been released without charge'', a spokeswoman for Blair said.
