Irate mob sets bus, lorry on fire after accident

Bangalore, Jan 19 (UNI) An irate mob set on fire a private bus and lorry following an accident, in which two persons were killed on the crowded Hosur road in the city today.

Hebbagodi police said the mishap occurred when the bus driver stopped the vehicle to pick up passengers and two persons riding on a motor cycle behind the bus rammed into it and fell down. A steel bar-laden lorry coming behind the motorcyclists ran over them.

While the rider, identified as Shashikumar, died on the spot, the other Chandru died after being admitted to a hospital.

The irate mob that gathered at the spot in no time, torched both the bus and the lorry, police added.
