Five people killed

Salem, Tamil Nadu, Jan 18 (UNI) Five people, including two women, were killed at Nathakarai bus stop, in Thalaivasal here.

Police sources said the victims waiting for a Mettur bus at the bus stop ware hit by another bus, which was coming from Kallakurichi.

The bus while overtaking a lorry ran over the victims, killing them on the spot. About 25 people who were traveling in the bus were injured and taken to Attur Government Hospital, the sources added.

Thalaivasal police have registered a case.
