CM scheming to make Hyd 'Centrally Administered Area': TRS

Siddipet, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 19 (UNI) The Telangana Rashtriya Samithi today charged Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy with scheming to make Hyderabad a Centrally Administered Area.

Talking to media here, party MLA and former minister T Harish Rao said Hyderabad belonged to the Telangana region and the party would resist all attempts to make it a Centrally Administred Area.

Talking about the IIT being established in Isnapur, he said Siddipet in Medak district would have been better for it.

'If the government decides to establish the IIT in Siddipet instead of Isnapur, my party will collect Rs one crore for the Institute.' His party had no objection to establishing the IIT at Basara in Adilabad district as promised earlier, he said.
