Brahmotsavam starts on Jan 20

Kadapa, Jan 19 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will celebrate nine day Brahmotsavam in Lakshmi Vekataswara temple in Kadapa from January 20.

The Brahmotsavam would start with Dwajarahorasham (hoisting the temple flag) and conclude on January 28, TTD sources said here today.

The lord would be taken out in procession on the Garuda Vahanam on January 23 and Rathotsavam (car festival) would he held on January 28.

Sri Sri Lakshmi Narayana Kalyana Utsam would be held on January 24 and all the devotees who pay Rs 300 could participate in the Utsam, the sources added.

TTD's Dharma Prachara Parishad (DPP) and Annamacharyya Project would make all arrangements for devotees.
