AI starts investigations in Nusli Wadia case

Mumbai, Jan 19 (UNI) Air India has started investigations in the incident in which a pistol and cartridges were found in the baggage of Bombay dyeing group Chairman Nusli Wadia.

The weapon, an ivory handle pistol, was seized by the Dubai airport security on January 13 by Dubai airport security.

AI sources said the investigation is on to find out how the weapon went undetected in the X-ray machine of the airline. Mr Wadia is expected to return to Mumbai in a couple of days.

It may be mentioned that Managing Director of the another airline 'Go air' Mr Jeh Wadia is the son of Mr Wadia.
