ULFA call for R-Day boycott

Guwahati, Jan 18 (UNI) The United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) and three other militant organisations today called for boycott of the Republic Day celebrations throughout the North East.

The three other militant organisation, apart from ULFA, are Kamtapur Liberation Organisation (KLO), Tripura Peoples Democratic Front (TPDF) and Manipur Peoples' Liberation Front (MPLF).

Meanwhile, security has been beefed up throughout the North East to stop any untoward incident during the Republic Day celebrations.
