Siemens Q1 net doubles to Rs 98 crore

Mumbai, Jan 18 (UNI) Siemens Ltd has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 98.07 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as against Rs 49.01 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) had increased from Rs 861.00 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 1,648.24 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
