MP to introduce mobile clinics in 80 blocks

Bhopal, Jan 18: Buoyed by the success of the mobile health clinics introduced on an experimental basis in 11 tribal blocks, the Madhya Pradesh government plans to introduce such facilities in another 80 blocks.

''Tenders for mobile health clinics have been invited for extending the scheme'', official sources said.

The clinics having the facilities for check-up, treatment and medicine supply have benefitted about 2.53 lakh people so far with about 125 to 150 patients turning up daily. About 8,500 expectant mothers were also benefitted under the Deendayal mobile health clinic scheme, the sources added.
