MoU for setting up hospital signed

Tirupati, Jan 18 (UNI) The Kanchi Mutt today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) to set up the proposed Sri Padmavathi Medical College Hospital at Renigunta near here.

In the first phase, the Mutt would release Rs 40 crore for the the construction over 60 acres of land at a cost of 80 crore.

The meeting also constituted a Trust headed by the Mutt Head for setting up the hospital.
