Modi allots Rs 7.5 cr for setting up gas-based crematoriums

Ahmedabad, Jan 18 (UNI) As a measure to reduce pollution, Gujarat government is promoting setting up of more gas-based crematoriums and has allocated Rs 7.5 crore for the purpose.

Such crematoriums will be set up across various cities and towns in the state, said Chief Minister Narendra Modi in a statement here.

He said the allocation has been made as part of the 'Nirmal Gujarat' Scheme.
