MMD to instal commission HP Scitex prining solution

Hyderabad, Jan 18 (UNI) Leading digital printing company, Macro Media Digital (MMD) today announced its single largest investment in the digital printing industry in India of Rs 10 crore to install and commission the latest HP Scitex digital printing solution-HP Scitex FB 6700.

Targeted of the Point of Purchase (POP) and Point of Sale (POS) applications, the installation of the HP Scitex FB 6700 in India was a milestone for the booming retail industry. The unique technology uses Odour-free, environment-friendly water-based pigment inks.

Mr Puneet Chadha, Country Manager-Commercial Sales Imaging&Printing Group, HP India said MMD was one of the pioneers of wide format digital printing in India, it has acquired 18 HP Scitex printers, including the recent addition of HP Scitex FB 6700. 'Today, Macro Media has the largest installed capacity in India'.

Speaking on the partnership, MMD Managing Director Mr Naresh Kumar said the company, which had its printing solutions in six cities of India, was looking at business of Rs 28 crore this year, up from Rs 22-crore turnover last year.
