Mizoram to get IT savvy by 2010
Aizawl, Jan 18: To explore the prospect and possibilities of Information Technology (IT) in the state, Mizoram government has constituted a three member expert committee.
An official statement here today said the committee would study the feasibility of introduction of IT as a subject in Mizoram University.
The committee headed by deputy secretary of IT Lalthlamuana and two other members from higher and technical education department, would submit the report by March 15.
Statement also says that the government had also chalked out a compherensive plan to make the state as the most IT savvy state by 2010.
The project aims to promote IT Industry, software, products and services in the state.
